PhD Candidate in Finance - Maastricht University
I am a first-year PhD candidate in Finance at Maastricht University (School of Business and Economics).
My research interests include entrepreneurial finance, gender and banking, and the resilience of small, tourism-dependent economies. I am currently working on a few qualitative and quantitative projects.
Before starting my PhD, I completed my MSc in International Business, specialization Strategic Corporate Finance, and interned at several banks.
My master's thesis focused on bank portfolio optimization for Aruban commercial banks and was awarded a 9.1 out of 10.0.
Previous Professional Experience
Before starting my PhD, I worked in finance roles at Goldman Sachs, ABN AMRO, AIB Bank, and Palm Tree LLC, gaining experience across Europe, the US, and the Caribbean in investment banking, corporate banking, asset management, and financial advisory.
